I am a Sound Healing Practitioner, Reiki Master, Kundalini Yoga Instructor, and Shamanic healing student devoted to helping others restore balance, reclaim their inner peace, and come home to themselves.

My path began long before I ever picked up a crystal singing bowl.
I grew up in the world of ballet — a discipline that shaped my entire way of being. Dance taught me devotion, precision, presence, and the quiet power of listening to the body. My dream of dancing professionally came true early in life, leading me to the role of principal dancer with a local company and the honor of training with Boston Ballet.

Hi -I’m Kristine
Hari Shabad

Motherhood — and the challenges that came with postpartum depression and my son’s epilepsy diagnosis — deepened that calling. In searching for ways to support myself and my family, I found Kundalini yoga, meditation, energy work, and eventually, the profound medicine of sound.

For over two decades, I’ve studied, practiced, and integrated a wide range of healing modalities. I’ve worked with individuals navigating everything from neurological conditions and chronic pain to emotional burnout, stress, and energetic depletion. My approach brings together traditional wisdom, breathwork, vibration, and guided awareness to support the nervous system and reconnect people with their innate capacity to heal.

Today, through The Sound Path, my offerings weave together Reiki, sound healing, breathwork, meditation, coaching, and shamanic practices to create experiences that are grounding, spacious, and deeply restorative. Whether in a private session, group journey, or corporate setting, my intention is always the same:
to help you feel more whole, more steady, and more connected to the truth of who you are.

My work is rooted in one simple belief:
Healing isn’t about becoming someone new — it’s about remembering who you've always been

Meditation is one of the tools in my toolbox that I wouldn't live without.

When a career-changing injury forced me off the stage, everything I knew about myself shifted. What felt like an ending became my first true initiation into healing. That period of reconstruction led me to teach dance, then into the realms of injury recovery, Pilates, and Gyrotonic work. I began collaborating with rehabilitation specialists, supporting individuals recovering from physical trauma. Without realizing it at the time, I was already walking the path of a healer.

The Sound Path was born from my deep relationship with sound as both a healing force and a guiding teacher.
Working with crystal singing bowls, I came to understand sound not just as vibration, but as a language of strength, clarity, and truth.
And the word ‘path’ has always symbolized movement, direction, and the purpose that carries us forward.
Together, they reflect my approach: using sound to open, clear, and realign the energetic pathways of the body.
The Sound Path is the journey we take when we harmonize the inner landscape — a return to balance, coherence, and the deeper wisdom within.

Why I Chose the Name “The Sound Path”

In 2006, my Kundalini Yoga teacher gave me the spiritual name Hari Shabad.
In the Sikh and yogic traditions:
Hari refers to the Divine, the One who removes blocks and brings light.
Shabad means sacred sound, the divine vibration, or the song of the soul.
Together, Hari Shabad speaks to the divine sound that clears the way — a name I didn’t realize would one day match the path I walk.  At the time, I didn’t connect with it. I tucked the name away and moved on, not realizing how deeply it would weave into my life.
Years later, everything changed the moment I first heard the resonance of crystal singing bowls. Their sound moved through me in a way I couldn’t explain — familiar, ancient, and unmistakably aligned. Only then did the meaning of my spiritual name return to me. And it finally made sense.
Have you ever received a gift you didn’t appreciate at first? Something you set aside, only to rediscover later with gratitude because now you understand its purpose?
That is exactly what my spiritual name has become for me.
A gift I wasn’t ready for then… but deeply honor now.
I am proud to carry the name Hari Shabad, and grateful for the quiet, serendipitous
way it revealed its truth.
